  1. I recently received my copy of the Sentinel from JPFO and read your front page article. First off, let me say that I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine what life would be like without my wife.

I am not observant, but as a young man (I am 62 now), I emigrated to Israel and served 2 years in the army. It was many years after I returned to the US that I picked up a gun again and became more aware of the political/social issues involved.
I live on Long Island, NY – not as liberal/progressive as New York City, but clearly, we have a ways to go before we arrive at a place where Arizona is regarding the acceptance of guns as a tool for self protection. Most Jews I meet however are largely anti-gun and anti 2nd Amendment. Given our history, this amazes me to no end.

I just wanted to reach out, congratulate you for the work that you are doing and wish you continued success.

    1. Thank you so much, Dov. I appreciate your encouragement. I, too, am always amazed at how fellow Jews don’t take self defense and security a bit more seriously, especially since it seems nothing changes and we are still the scapegoats in every generation. May klal Yisrael unite before we are pushed into uniting under very bad circumstances.
Thanks again for your well wishes.

  2. Please keep up the good work you’re doing, both in the community and on the website.

Which is very attractive, let me add (as are you). I’ve just learned WordPress to build a site for our local friends of the park group. Am taking some pointers from your site.

    1. Hi Steve. Thanks for your kind words. Mazel with the local site you are setting up. I have a hard time keeping up with my site, but I’m learning to make time.
      Kol tuv!
